Any information on suboxone?
Yep! Suboxone is Buprenorophine and Nalexone combined to fill the opiate receptors in your brain, thus curbing your craving for opiates. Subutex is Buprenorophine without the Nalexone that does the very same piece, but if you use Suboxone (organge pills)
the Nalexone in it is rather puzzling, since Nalexone or NarCan
is used in the treatment of opiate overdose. (therefore, the Nalexone kind of have the reverse effect that the Bup. does.
Taking Subutex (white foot-ball shaped tabs) sometimes works better for those that are motivated to get off of opiates and have a good support system. Bupenorophine is far superior to Methadone as it does not feat as a replacement to opiates and the need for more does not exist. It is not possible to get loaded on Subutex and for sure you will be very sick if you purloin more Suboxone than recommended. I have personal experience with all of the above and am a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor. The use of Methadone does not seem to do anymore than create a substitution of one filling drug for another, on the otherhand if you are motivated to live a clean and sober lifestyle, go for the Subutex or suboxone. Personally I prefer to see people using Subutex and lowering their dosage themselves ONLY if they are really motivated and are not living in and around a using environment. Attending NA and AA meeting are a great source of fellowship for addicts of all chemicals. The 12 steps of the program are put in order for a sense. Get yourself a sponser and go to the meetings until you like them. Place Principle before identity and don't judge, it's a long road to recovery but well worth the price. You have rewarded for your seat in any meeting, so attend regularly in your nouns and start hanging with the winners. It is far too easy to relapse if you are not involved contained by other things and involved with clean and sober people. Be careful not to start substituting other things for your drug of choice, be it food, sex, sports, shopping, or any other addictive behavior. Balance is the push button here. You may want to consider joining a yoga class or taking some art courses at your local community college, and just staying away from the old "friends" that you will find were not really "friends". Believe me when I tell you, the agent really does not care about you, neither is it a good idea to stop by and utter hello. That's the Committee in you head telling you to go ahead, you are strong...blah, blah, blah. Just don't. If you've made it this far, Fabulous! I want you the very best! I don't know how long Suboxone or Subutex has been around but it surely helped gather a lot of lives. Go for it, you don't know if you don't try, and the worst that can happen is that you can have your misery refunded at any time you start using again.
