How copious hours will 4 mg's of suboxone block opiates?

Suboxone has two ingredients - Buprenorphine and Naloxone -- The Bupe is the opiate binding agent and have a half life of about a day and a partly.. though it can extend up to 3 days. The Naloxone , however, is eliminated in a few hours.
So you could feel the effects of methadone after ceasing suboxone for a year or two..
You need to be careful here though, because some people eliminate these substances at different rates -- and if you still own some of the naloxone roaming in your system with the ingestion of methadone you could be in for a very sick (withdrawal induced) time.
Also.. cease suboxone treatment to get a buzz off of methadone is defeating the purpose of the treatment. But that is up to you, or whoever you are asking for --
Just watch out -- none of it is going to kill you, but it can make life very unpleasant if you don't keep on long enough.

4 mg's of sub won't have very much blocking power, and you would acquire the benefit of methadone or any strong opiate the same day as taking sub, with no health risk.
