Pain nouns and duragesic patch?
my wife has been on the patch for over a year because of small fiber neuroeathy but when the patch runs out the pain is unbarable is there any entity she can do to help with the pain besides hot baths or how can she stop the patch without the repeal please help
I, too, am on .50 mcg duragesic patches and alternate with .75 mcgs.
The patch says it stays within the system72 hours and it's not true. It is only actively working for 48 hours.
I went back to the prescribing doctor and told him. He changed the prescription to say, "1 patch every 48 hours." The pharmacy next knows that she gets it every 2 days.
You definitely don't want them adding another pill to her schedule because she'll have to deal with balancing it out, and adjectives the oter side effects.
