Drugs contained by a relatonship, what would you do?
I recently found hidden diet pills which my gf started taking. Of course she denies taking them, or having them. She is feeling thoroughly sick after taking them and refuses to eat anything but tomatoes each day.
I can't be a witness to her destruction and I can't enjoy her on my conscience so I am thinking of confronting her and telling her that she will have to choose between the pills and me. Is it a good thing to do? What would you do to address this situation?
I can single guess, but if you were to ask her to make a choice between the pills and you, I think the chances are honestly good that the pills would win.
If you can't be a witness to her destruction, you have two choices, and neither are good, you can try and get her to adopt help, or you can turn and leave, both will destroy your relationship with her. Frankly, the best of the doomed to failure choices is just leave, what you might want to say is that if she cleans herself up, you may welcome her spinal column, but until that time, you don't want anything to do with her.
I think before you give her such an ultimatum, you should try other system first.. . like telling her how you are worried about her, asking her why she does it, telling her you dont similar to it.. suggesting counseling and therapy and all that.. maybe giving her some time to get over doesn`t matter what her problem is. It might just be a phase.
I have to admit when you said drugs I thought of much worse in my mind. I too own taken diet pills in excess in the past, but I got over it. It help me to know that others cared about the fact that they werent exactly good for me, but I never did, nor do I focus now, that they are a huge deal in the first place.
The fact that this girl solitary eats tomatoes suggests a bigger problem however.. like anorexia. If she refuses to engage contained by healthier eating habits, or get relieve to do so, then yeah I guess what choice do you have but to give her an ultimatum? You certainly dont call for to stay with someone with such problems. that may sound cold or harsh, but we enjoy to look out for ourselves too, knowing when its best to stay away from trouble, because heaven knows none of us need more drama in our lives.

First off, get her to a doctor and get her comfort. After she starts getting help if she is willing to change then you hold a chance. If not, then leave. Right now it is freshly diet pills. What is next. Help her get her act together and if she refuses consequently say goodbye.

At least 3 of medications (that I definitely need) cause memory loss, memory problems, and/or concentration problems. Does anyone know if I could possibly cart Aricept (the medication used for alzheimer's) to help these incredibly difficult memory/concentration problems that interfere tremendously with my functioning and cause a lot of anxiety worrying if I'm going...
