Yasmin to yaz?
I was put on birth control for a year, then I got off of it for a few months, and approved to get back on it to regulate my periods. Well since the last time I've gotten on it, it's be more than a year( yasmin). Well yasmin is off the market now, I have 2 more packet of yasmin left, then I have to switch to yaz(which is made from the same company as yasmin, but not adjectives the same) what do you think my precautions should be while switching, my aunt(which is a nurse) said to not take a break between them, so I am not. she doesnt know all about the pill though. So I be wondering is there a chance of me gettin pregnant or anythig I should know during the switch? THnks!
I just did the same item this summer. I switched from Yasmin to Yaz (LOVE YAZ!). when you are done the white pills of your last Yasmin pack, start your Yaz pack, just like you would have started your Yasmin pack. Birth Control is birth control, so you won't hold any issues if you take it regularly. Just make sure you don't skip any days between packs.
It may take a few months to digit out what day to start your pack, because Yaz gives you more pills, but a shorter period.
On Yasmin, I was a Sunday start time and would get my periods on Monday. With Yaz, I start on Tuesday to get my period on Monday. It newly takes a few months to figure it out.

I am currently on 240mgs of Ziprasidone (Geodon). Is stopping this medication abruptly known to cause withdrawal symptoms? If so, what are they? - I'm on geodon and enjoy stopped taking it occasionally. I experienced a lot of anxiety and had psychotic behaviors. I suggest if you want to stop taking it to gradually wean yourself off.
