When can I grasp pravachol and niaspan generic?
I understand we have to wait 7 years before prescription RX can hold a generic on the market.
I don't know exactly when Pravachol and Niaspan first went on the market. I would like to find out when they would be eligible for generic. I hold a donut hole on my Medicare Part D and this can make a difference as to whether I stay with my present carrier.
Pravachol does not yet own a generic counterpart and I cannot find out when one will be available, Niaspan however does have multiple generic brands available, go to your pharmacy and ask about Niacin Extended Release and they should be able to point one out.
