How frequent days have anyone on chantix finally quit?
I have been on for eight days I was supposed to quit today but have smoked 6 cigs.Just wondering if it took some ethnic group longer?
I smoked maybe one or two days after I was suppose to quit. Just do not give up it be 3 months the 19th of May that I have not had a cig. just keep on going you will lay them down.

I quit after about 3 days I really looked-for to quit just try to occupy your mind with something else or do what I did I ate and now after 2 months I gained almost 15 lbs enormously attractive so now on top of not smoking I get to stop eating I also stopped taking chantix after 2 weeks be giving me nightmares am glad I quit but it sucks to diet lol

My Dr put me on the Chantix for 6 months. He said I have been smoking for 28 years so why would anything make me quit in a month or two? Just articulate to your Dr - mine said he would have no problem prescribing for a year if that is what it took. It did not, I actually stopped in 3 months but continued the meds for another 2 1/2 purely to give me the confidence I needed to stop. I have been smoke free for over a year now and no problems even when I am around other smokers. Don't offer up, it just takes some of us longer than others and you will be able to do it! Do whatever you hold to to distract yourself and you will be a winner in the end!!!!
