About orgasams and lexapro for women? serious peep solely plz?
Hate to tell you I never did.. I am on Cymbalta now and have been for a while and it's awesome..
I have taken Lexapro and still experienced the same pleasures as before, nil changed regarding my sex life, but drugs do effect people in different ways. I found the below information and put the intertwine to it so you can read, etc, but again for me everything was the same as before I started taking. Lexapro really helped next to my anxiety also.
They say It is highly unlikely you will not have orgasms or have change in sexual interest/performance/satisfaction. See below link, but again drugs do affect people in different ways.

A drug will have different side effects for every person. Some associates will have decreased sexual function or low libido, some people may not.
My best suggestion? Try the lexapro for a while and keep a logbook or something close to that to track your sexual interest, and if you are still able to have orgasms. Watch for any decrease in desire or handiness. If you seem to be affected by it, then it may be something you want to discuss with your doctor in the region of treatment options.

Probably, I know that men can (from personal experience) It can suspension orgasm, but not as much - for me - as other antidepressants. You will probably just have to wait and see what it does for you. You can always try another medication if the side effects are not what you decision.
