but the doctor HAS to start u on something different.. like celexa because u have to start stale with something different gay i know.. then u can move up to lexapro
Talk to the pharmacy & your doctor. Walmart, Target & Shopko (& possibly others) offer a list of drugs for $4 per month respectively. Finid out what drug similar to Lexaporo is covered on the list, then contact your doctor. I went thru this too with a blood pressure med, & eventaully get onto an effective med that is covered at the $4 price. Its a nuisance, but its worth it to get things straightened out. You may also ask your doctor to contact the insurance company to explain why he requests you on this drug. It couldn't hurt...
U need to go back to your doctor and tell him the situation, ASAP
He may own to prescribe a new A/D med that has a generic available......
