Its be 2 wks of Lexapro. Cold Turkey. How long till the dizziness go away??r=1222818440?

Do you mean you quit the Lexapro cold turkey two weeks ago? You should always work with your doctor when coming off anti-depressants. You be put on it for a reason and need a doctors advice about your dosage or deficit therof. In my experience Lexapro makes you dizzy when taking it for the first few days not when coming off it and certainly not for two weeks. Lexapro gets into you systems pretty in a hurry and also comes out of you system fast. Really you should talk to your doctor. I was on Lexapro for a few months after having PostPartem Depression. I chose to quit the medication because it be effecting my sex drive (there was none). Source(s): Three years later I am still suffering from depression, some anxiety and overwhelming feelings and even memory loss related to depression. I wish I would hold followed through with my doctors advice about anti-depressant therapy and counseling.
