Does Singulair give support to beside seasonal allergies that bring congestion?
I suffer from year round indoor and outdoor allergies and I get major congestion. I get allergy shots as well as taking pretty a few medications for allergies. Singulair has been the only entry that really works for me. I've taken Claritin-D, Allegra-D, Zytrec, etc and they all did nothing. I also take Astelin and Nasonex nose sprays as powerfully as Xyzal. Without my medications I would be getting a sinus infection every two weeks. You should talk to your doctor and just find out what works best for you. No...Singulair help with symptoms of Asthma....the reason it may seem to help beside congestion is because it brings down some of the swelling associated with Asthma, thereby allowing more room in there for you to breath. Asthma and Allergies go mitt in hand, so chances are, you will be prescribed Singulair if you have both problems. Just remember, Singulair is made to minister to Asthma through prevention of attacks, NOT to help stop them when they are already happening.
