Is Plavix available surrounded by different doses and is it impressive at lower dosing?
I have only ever seen it at 75mg tablets. That is pretty much the standard dose except immediately after stent placement they may hold 2 or 3 that day, but then only 75mg daily.

Aspirin alone is insufficient in patients following coronary stents. The length of Plavix treatment depends on the type of stent used. Do not stop Plavix lacking consulting your cardiologist.
In spite of a previous answer, there is ample evidence to show that Plavix is superior to aspirin in certain classes of patients.
It is available primarily in 75mg pills. There is a 300mg pill that is to say used in the hospital immediately after some cardiac interventions.
plavis just comes in a 75 mg tablet..Plavis is only marginally better than aspirin at best. The studdies on plavix that I am aware of show that plavix and aspirin are effective never that plavix alone is effective. If you don't hold insurance or if you have a high copay i would ask your doc about just taking aspirin. Drug reps hold brain washed the doc's , too. Ask for a package insert from your pharmacist.
