stops working does that mean prozac won't work? plus I gained a lot of weight on lexapro and I own also tryed cymbalta i know prozac is cheap but not sure if it will help if i'm already taking the updated version

I take generic Wellbutrin SR (150 mg) in the morning, and Lexapro (10 mg) next to dinner, for depression and anxiety. I've been taking that for over two years, and it's working very well for me.
The Wellbutrin SR makes me more involved and motivated - and I think it's kept me from gaining weight as a result.
You didn't say what your Lexapro dose is, possibly adding the Wellbutrin SR might help with it not working - Just a thought. I would recommend doing that instead of increasing your Lexapro dose - it'll support keep the side effects down.
