Methadone v's Suboxone? Has anyone switched from one to the other?
Have any of you very helpful people ever been on the methadone and switched to suboxone? I'm down to 30ml on the 'done required earlier you can switch to the other, I'm just wondering if there are any advantages to switching? I've heard that you sweat less and it's for a moment easier to come down, is this correct? It's a bit tricky to get accurate info, you know? The doctors only know what they read on their little pieces of paper, and other users are notoriously flakey and difficult to receive a straight answer out of. Thanks, I appreciate your time and I don't mind if you tell me about what happened to 'your friend' if you know what I mean?
It depends on the amount of Methadone you be on and it depends on your degree of physical dependence and addiction.
Now what I read is that if you were over 40 mg's of Methadone a day, Suboxone is going to be a hard transition to variety. I will write one more thing on this and give you a link. For what I would right to be heard is what I know and stuff from this link. Suboxone no matter how effective it is, or no matter what the dose is, is other going to work only half way.
It is taper friendly in some but self a partial agonist withdrawal and tapering can be pure HELL for some people! It is not all what it is suppose to be and my personal evaluation you should REMAIN on the Methadone. Here read this;
