Protonix contained by the first Trimester?
I am only a few weeks into this pregnancy and already the acid reflux is so bad my throat is swelling tight at night!!! It is severely scary and I know that protonix works because they gave it to me the last three months of my last pregnancy. I hold some I could take, but is it safe during the first trimester??? Please help if you know anything about this for sure.
I wouldn't steal it without first talking to your doctor.. Protonix isn't supposed to be used for long periods of time in non pregnant women because of the effects it have on lab rats.. so it might not be safe in the first three months. I took it pre-pregnancy and was always man warned by my doctors of the possible side effects of using it.
