Question for Advair Diskus users?
I have this problem and was wondering if anyone else does and what did or would they do about it? I have be using advair for 6 months now and ever since i have had repeated episodes of white patches within my mouth (i think it is called Thrush) that is a side effect from it. No matter how plentiful time i rinse my mouth out and have even used Listerine to rinse i keep getting it back. The strange part is that it occur half way through the monthly treatment. I can't stop taking the advair and nothing else helps my asthma. If anyone have the same or similar problem, do they know how to keep from having the problem or any other medication that is a moment ago as good without that side effect. My doctor thinks i should just live beside the problem, but i am tired of it.
I do not get thrush from my adv air discus, but I have gotten it because of antibiotics. try eating yogurt. thrush is cause by killing off the good bacteria your are supposed to hold in your mouth. the same bacteria that can be found in yogurt, possibly if you are replacing what the steroid inhaler is killing off, you can help prevent the white patches, and discomfort. appropriate luck and take care.

surely to quit smoking you could do something else rather than take a drug that could give you suicidal thoughts..je'***!!! anyone else think these medication which imply such awful side effects are simply pathetic ways to cure a "problem"??...same with birth control etc which...
