Can the antidepressant abilify be taken next to prozac?
I am bi-polar and handicapped, depression get's worse when fighting depression with chronic pain.Can abilify be taken with prozac,lexapro e.t.c.?
When they use abilify for depression it is in a situation where a person is already taking an SSRI and they still hold symptoms of depression. That is when the abilify is added to knock out remaining symptoms.

The lone people to take advice from about your medication should be your prescribing doctor or your pharmacist filling the scripts at your chemist. Mixing your meds can be dangerous & sometimes fatal. PLEASE don't start messing with your meds til you own talked it through with a qualified health professional.
You can mix those but never mix sleeping medicine with bipolar medicine like lithium it may raison d`être seizures
