Byetta is NOT a weight loss drug. Byetta is for LOWERING BLOOD SUGAR. Weight loss is a side effect, IF it occur at all. Not all patients experience lowered hunger and weight loss
You will be subject to ALL the possible side effects of Byetta, including hypoglycemia, nausea, skin irritation, "dimples" at the injection site, etc.
Of course, Byetta needs a prescription. So ask the doctor if he would prescribe it for you. Understand that taking prescription drugs lacking a prescription is illegal.
First off, there be some initial consideration that byetta could be used for weight loss in non diabetics, but, the side effects (including a few deaths) make it unsuitable for that use.
Second, the average amount of weight lost using drugs such as byetta is not nearly what ancestors want it to be. Of I recall correctly, it was on average less than 10% of body weight, something assured enough to do with diet and exercise without using a drug.
Third, there are frequent appetite surpressants already on the market, but none of them stop people from over eating (which is often the unadulterated problem people have), and some (like phentermine) can cause binging when the person does eat. Portion size is frequently with the sole purpose half of what people think is a single serving, and many supposedly respectable mealths are extremely high in fats and calories (even salads).
It wouldn't help you to lose mass unless you're diabetic. Being diabetic (type 2) in itself causes people to put on weight, and the Byetta reverses that.
